Shillong, May 5: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) on Monday announced the results of the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examination 2025 for the Science stream on Monday.
Saptarshi Bhattacharjee of Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School, Shillong, emerged as the topper in the Science stream, securing an impressive 483 marks. His subject combination included English, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, reflecting his strong command over core science disciplines.
In the second position was Drishana Roychoudhury of St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong, who scored 477 marks. Her subjects were English, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Alternative English.
The third position went to another St. Anthony’s student, Shweta Sarma, who secured 473 marks with the same subject combination.
Iairi Dapynsuk Swett of St. Anthony’s took the fourth position with 469 marks, followed by a tie for fifth place between Debojit Malakar of Laban Bengalee Boys’ and Reesa Ee Christine Suting of North Liberty Higher Secondary School, Mookyndrop–Jowai, both scoring 461 marks.
The sixth rank was shared by Gary K Gangte of St. Anthony’s and Saptaparna Kar of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, both scoring 460 marks. Jeson Sumer of St. Anthony’s secured the seventh position with 459 marks.
Eighth place was again shared, this time between Gaurav Das of Laban Bengalee Boys’ and Sanida Emi Pakma of St. Mary’s, both scoring 458 marks.
The ninth position went jointly to Soma Biswas of St. Anthony’s and Rilanaika Sari of North Liberty, with 452 marks.
Samridhya Das of Don Bosco College, Tura, rounded off the top ten with 450 marks.
