Shillong, April 03: Two unknown miscreants hurled a petrol bomb into Mawlai Police Station in the early hours of Wednesday, torching a police vehicle parked outside.
According to police sources, the incident occurred around 2:00 in the morning.
Two unknown men arrived on a two-wheeler and hurled a petrol bomb at the vehicle (Gypsy) parked outside Mawlai Police Station, added the police source.
No injuries were reported.
The police have registered a case regarding the incident, and the investigation is ongoing to arrest the culprit.
