SHILLONG, OCT 9: Meghalaya government has nearly finalised the relocation of Harijan Colony from Them Iew Mawlong, Deputy Chief Minister in charge Urban Affairs Sniawbhalang Dhar said on Thursday, adding the detailed blueprint will be made public only after negotiations are over.
Refusing to share details at this stage, Dhar said, “It is a state subject, so I will explain to you at the right time, not now. This is a state subject. We already had a meeting last week, so we have almost come to a conclusion, not ‘guess’ but at the earliest as possible, that is the right word I should use.”
He said the blueprint cannot be disclosed while talks are still on.
“When things finalize ultimately you will see the blueprint, I cannot give you the blueprint as negotiation is going on,” he said.
