Shillong, Nov 27: Unidentified miscreants vandalised a journalist’s vehicle and stole laptops and hard drives outside the Shillong Press Club, Lower Lachumiere, around 9 PM on Tuesday evening.
The journalist, identified as Martin Nongkhlaw, had parked his vehicle (Registration Number ML 05 X 1788) outside the Shillong Press club premises.
The miscreants made off with two laptops, external hard drives and other essential items stored in a bag, along with a small handbag.
Nongkhlaw has filed an FIR at Sadar Police Station and the authorities have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the culprits.
