Shillong, June 5 : Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Monday paid his tribute to police personnel from across the country at the National Police Memorial in New Delhi’s Chanakyapuri.
Sharing a series of pictures on his official Twitter account, CM Conrad wrote, “We salute, honour and acknowledge with great pride the supreme sacrifices made by our gallant departed martyrs in defending the integrity of our nation.”
He futher said, “The wall of valour at the National Police Memorial has the names of our martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty. Proud & honoured to see the names of our Meghalaya Police personnel.”

CM Conrad Sangma was accompined by Education Minister, Power Minister, DG of Meghalaya Police and several other officials.
About National Police Memorial
The National Police Memorial is spread over 6.12 acres and it has a 30-foot tall heavy black granite central sculpture, a museum and also a ‘Wall of Valour’ bearing the names of all the policemen who lost their lives while serving the nation since Independence.
