SHILLONG, JUL 24: The state Bharatiya Janata Party has strongly condemned the alleged derogatory sloganeering against Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Khyndailad.
In a statement, the party said a video of the incident shared by an online platform showed a few non-tribal youths raising personal slogans against the Prime Minister.
“The personal slogans were totally uncalled for as the Government was reaching out to the protesting youth in Delhi and has finally reached an amicable solution with them,” the statement said.
The BJP said such acts undermine democratic discourse and should not be encouraged.
