Shillong, June 25: Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Thursday said Meghalaya will seek to replicate key features of the Telangana Integrated Command & Control Centre (IC&CC) after describing it as one of the country’s leading examples of technology-driven governance.

During his visit to the Integrated Command & Control Centre in Hyderabad, Sangma said he was impressed by its systems and seamless coordination, noting that the facility demonstrates how technology, data and inter-departmental collaboration can be integrated to deliver more efficient and responsive public services.

“This is most probably one of the best integrated command and control centres in the country,” he said, adding that its strength lies not only in the technology deployed but also in the robust system developed to improve governance through better coordination among departments.

Sangma said the Centre serves as an excellent model for states across India, including Meghalaya, as they work towards leveraging technology to strengthen governance and enhance citizen service delivery.

Having witnessed the Centre’s functioning firsthand, the Chief Minister said Meghalaya would adopt as many of its best practices as possible.
