Guwahati, Feb 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an important announcement on Sunday, saying that electricity bills will soon be reduced to zero, with the government actively working toward this goal.

This announcement was made when the PM was addressing a rally at Khanapara veterinary field on Sunday.

“Now electricity bills will become zero, and our government has been working towards it. The entire country now believes that Modi’s guarantee means the guarantee will be fulfilled,” stated PM Modi during the address.

He highlighted the government’s focus on solar rooftop installations, aiming for one crore people to set up solar rooftops in the first phase, allowing them to generate and use electricity while earning from the process.

PM Modi shared the government’s commitment to providing basic facilities to women, youth, and the poor, citing the successful engagement of over 30 crore people in the Swachh Bharat Yatra.

The interim budget, according to PM Modi, reflects a focus on making life easier for the common people. “Before 2014, in ten years total 12 lakh crore was spent on infrastructure,” he said.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the withdrawal of AFSPA in many areas and the integration of over 700 people from rebel groups into the mainstream.

He outlined the goal of making India a developed nation by 2047, aiming to become the world’s third-largest economy.

The rally witnessed significant participation from women, with many expressing their happiness and appreciation for the schemes introduced by PM Modi for the welfare of women.

One attendee from Nalbari mentioned, “We are happy to see PM Narendra Modi in front of us. Modiji has given lots of schemes for the women, and today we have come here to see Modiji. We liked his speech, and we thank him for thinking for the women.”
