SHILLONG, JAN 6: The United Democratic Party (UDP) will soon decide on the selection of candidates for the upcoming Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC).
According to the general secretary of the party Titosstarwell Chyne, the report is expected to be submitted by the Garo Hills committee in the coming days.
He said the party had constituted the special committee to oversee candidate selection and campaign strategy for the GHADC polls, slated to be held this year.
“We will announce our decision accordingly on receiving the report,” Chyne added.
