SHILLONG, Sept 21: State police on Wednesday recovered four stolen vehicle batteries from a local taxi in the city.
Based on a tip off, Nongmensong Outpost intercepted one local taxi suspected to be carrying stolen material. The local taxi bearing regd No. ML 05E 6607 had 4 vehicle batteries which were stolen from four vehicles parked at Last Stop Laban last night.
A case is being registered at Laban PS.
