NEIGRIHMS employees excel in TOLIC Level Hindi story writing competition

SHILLONG, OCT 28: In a recent development three employees from the Rajbhasha Anubhag of the institute secured top honors in the TOLIC (Town Official Language Implementation Committees) level Hindi Story Writing Competition organized by Grid Controller of India Limited, Shillong on September 25, 2025.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of staff from various government offices, public sector undertakings and banks in the region showcasing their creativity and command over the Hindi language.

Sanchita Chakraborty, Hindi Officer, Guddi Bhagat, Senior Hindi Translator and Mohit Sati, Junior Hindi Translator from NEIGRIHMS received first second and consolation prize respectively in the competition with their exceptional storytelling skills.

Director, NEIGRIHMS Prof Nalin Mehta applauded the staff for their achievement and added
that this remarkable performance highlights NEIGRIHMS’s commitment in promoting Hindi as official language and encouraging literary talent amongst its staff.

Prof. Manika Agarwal, Nodal Officer Hindi section congratulated the team for their brilliant performance and wished them success to continue their hard work in promoting Rajbhasha.
