Shillong, Oct 8: Due to heavy rainfall in most parts of Meghalaya’s West Jaiñtia Hills, a minor landslide occurred in Pynthor Langtein village on early Sunday morning.
In this landslide, one house was partially buried by mud and debris, causing damage to the structure. Unfortunately, four people lost their lives, which included the father, mother, and two children.
Meanwhile, their bodies have been retrieved, and the necessary legal formalities are underway.
