During the visit, fruit baskets were distributed to pregnant women, while adolescent girls received reusable sanitary pads underscoring the campaign’s focus on maternal health, adolescent well-being, and women’s empowerment.

In his address, Governor Vijayshankar highlighted the significance of the initiative, encouraging citizens to make full use of the healthcare services provided under the programme.

He emphasized that the campaign represents a vital step by the Government of India to improve the health and well-being of women, children, and families through free screenings, nutrition awareness, and preventive care.

Launched Nationwide earlier this month, the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan aims to strengthen healthcare delivery through community engagement, early disease detection, and the promotion of nutrition and hygiene practices, particularly for women and children.
