Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle : 4 IFS officers brought to civil administration

Shillong, Aug 8: The state government on Friday issued a notification announcing a series of bureaucratic transfers and postings, affecting several senior officials in various departments.

IFS officer Harish Chandra Chaudhary has been posted as Principal Secretary, Fisheries Department.

IFS officer M.B.K. Reddy has been posted as Principal Secretary, Mining & Geology Department.

IAS officer Swapnil Tembe has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Finance Department.

IAS officer D.D. Sangma has been assigned additional charge as Executive Chairman, Meghalaya Board of School Education.

The notification also includes transfers and postings of several other officials, including:

IFS officer Gavade Sachin Shankar has been posted as Joint Secretary , Planning, Investment Promotion & Sustainable Development Department, MBDA Executive Director and Additional Project Director of MegLIFE.

IAS officer T.G. Momin has been assigned additional charge as Secretary, Meghalaya Farmers (Empowerment) Commission.

IAS officer Jagdish Chelani has been assigned additional charge as State Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.

MCS officer Ashish M. Sangma has been posted as Joint Secretary, Home (Police) Department, Home (Political) Department and Secretary, State Level Public Grievance Committee.

MCS officer Banteilang Kharshandi has been assigned additional charge as Nodal Officer, POSHAN.

MCS officer Manaliza Lakiang has been assigned additional charge as Secretary, Meghalaya Public Service Commission.

MCS officer Clement Phorword Mawkon has been relieved of his functions as Additional Deputy Commissioner, i/c Mawshynrut Civil Sub-Division.

MCS officer Sanborn Marwein has been assigned additional charge as Additional Deputy Commissioner, i/c Mawshynrut Civil Sub-Division.
