SHILLONG, OCT 8: Deputy Chief Minister in-charge District Council Affairs Prestone Tynsong on Thursday confirmed that the Land Bill passed by the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) has been returned.
He said the bill was returned from both the state government and the Governor with observations.
“The status is we have returned it, simple. From the government side and from the Governor we have returned it with observation, the observation of the Governor,” Tynsong told reporters.
He asked the council to clarify on the observations raised.
“So please ask from them,” he added.
