SHILLONG, Sept 12: Ramesh Dkhar (25), one of the six escaped prisoners, was arrested from Shangpung village on Monday.
“He (Ramesh) was arrested from Shangpung village at 12 noon,” West Jaintia Hills district Superintendent of Police (SP) Bikram D Marak said.
Ramesh had escaped the mob lynching which killed four under trial prisoners (UTPs), who escaped from the Jowai district jail on Saturday.
