SHILLONG, MAY 27: Social Activist Flaming B Marak on Tuesday lodged a complaint against a Facebook (FB) user by the name Salgro Salagram for threatening him and his family with “death penalty”.
In a complaint submitted to the Director General of Police (DGP), Marak said that the reason behind threatening him was because he had uploaded a news article published in one of the English dailies in regards to the recent arrest of two individuals for their pro-Pakistan facebook post.
“The facebook account profile by the name Salgro Salaram has threatened me and my family members with dire consequences or threatening to face the death penalty,” he said while urging the state police to investigate and take strong action against the facebook user Salgro Salaram.
