Brig. B.D. Mishra given additional charge as Meghalaya Guv, to be sworn-in tomorrow

Shillong, Oct 3: The new Governor designate of Meghalaya Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) reached the State capital on Monday.

He was received by C&RD Minister Hamletson Dohling, Chief Secretary D.P. Wahlang, DGP Dr.L.R.Bishnoi, Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills Isawanda Laloo, and Superintendent of Police of East Khasi Hills S. Nongtynger, at the ALG, Upper Shillong.


Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra is presently the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, and has been given the additional charge of Meghalaya.

In this connection, he will be sworn-in as Meghalaya Governor on Tuesday at Raj Bhavan, Shillong.
