SHILLONG, OCT 02: Members of the Sutnga Parish on Wednesday met Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar and extended their support to National People’s Party candidate Dr DRL Nonglait for the upcoming Shillong Lok Sabha byelection.
The meeting focused on issues concerning the welfare, growth and development of the Sutnga region.
During the interaction, the Parish members expressed their satisfaction and declared their backing for Dr Nonglait.
“We are extending our complete support to Dr DRL Nonglait. We hope he will serve and represent the state and its people effectively,” the Parish members said.
The delegation said the meeting reflected unity and shared understanding between community leaders and the public ahead of the election.
