Petrol bomb hurled at Meghalaya DMR offfice in Risa Colony, officer’s car damaged

SHILLONG, SEPT 16: Miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the office of the Directorate of Mineral Resources (DMR) at Risa Colony on Wednesday afternoon, damaging a vehicle parked inside the premises.

According to sources, the petrol bomb hit an Alto car bearing registration number ML 05 AC 0429, belonging to an officer of the directorate, which was parked in front of the office.

The incident took place at around 3:15 pm when employees were still on duty inside the office.

Police from Laitumkhrah Police Station immediately rushed to the spot and have launched a detailed investigation into the incident.
