Meghalaya signs MoU with Tamil Nadu for exchange of medical knowledge

Shillong, Sept 19: The Health department of the State of Meghalaya inked an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tamil Nadu government on Monday to strengthen the capacity of the medical professionals and facilities knowledge exchange in the State.

Minister incharge of Health, James K Sangma met his Tamil Nadu counterpart Ma Subramaniam to formalise the agreement signing.

Taking to social media, James said the MoU will immensely benefit Meghalaya from the excellence and proactive approaches demonstrated by Tamil Nadu in the health sector.

James added that the MDA government is committed towards providing access, quality and affordable healthcare for all.
