Karan Johar’s ‘Love Storiyaan’ Trailer Out; Shillong couple’s Love story among six featured tales

Mumbai, Feb 9: The debut trailer for Karan Johar’s unscripted web series, “Love Storiyaan,” has been released. The show promises to showcase six heartfelt love stories, each stemming from diverse economic backgrounds and social strata.

Opening the trailer, producer Karan Johar introduces the series, expressing, “Love transcends mere scripts; it pulsates as the essence of life itself. Join me on this journey as we delve into the genuine tales that define the true meaning of love.”

Filmmaker Karan Johar also shared the promo on his social media page with a caption that read, “When there’s love, nothing else matters! And what’s better than a real life story as a reminder for the same? And what’s best? 6 real life love stories that remind you about the magic and power of love!”

The brainchild of Somen Mishra, the show is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment. These heartwarming tales were initially showcased on the India Love Project, a social media initiative led by journalists and writers Priya Ramani, Samar Halarnkar, and Niloufer Venkatraman.

Interesting, the “Love Storiyaan” also features the love story of Rajni Karki Chettri and her husband Nicholas Jonathan Kharnami from Shillong.

It must be noted that Rajni Karki Chettri is a professor at the Mass Media Department of St’ Anthony’s College, Shillong, while here husband Nicholas is a well known RJ and is populary known as RJ Nicky.

“Love Storiyaan” is set to make its debut on Prime Video on February 14th.
