Shillong, April 15: A motorcycle was set on fire by unknown miscreants on early Tuesday morning at Mawlai Nongpdeng, Block-C.
The two-wheeler, bearing a registration number ML05-N-7231, belongs to Sukha Ranjan Debbarma, the husband of Lilioso Kharjana, a local resident of Mawlai Nongpdeng.
According to East Khasi Hills SP Vivek Syiem, the incident occurred around 4:30 AM, when the bike, which was parked outside the house, was found engulfed in flames.
Police from Mawlai Police Station arrived at the scene shortly after and have launched an investigation into the matter.
