Shillong, July 23: In response to the Ministry of Education’s directive regarding the celebration of ‘Shiksha Saptah’ and the fourth anniversary of NEP-2020, the State Education Mission Authority of Meghalaya has announced a rescheduling of activities originally planned for July 28.

Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma said they have decided to move the events to July 29, citing Sunday as a significant day for the Christian community in Meghalaya. “Sunday being the Holy day of Christians, the concluding day of the celebrations will now be observed on Monday, July 29th, instead of July 28th,” he emphasized.

The Education Week, marking the NEP-2020 milestone, commenced on July 22 and will conclude on the rescheduled date.
