Tura, June 21: The International Yoga Day 2023 was organised in Wednesday at Don Bosco Jr College, Tura Meghalaya. The Yog Divas was organised by the India tourism, Shillong (Incredible India) in collaboration with A’chik Tourism Society and supported by the District Administration West Garo Hills.
This year, the International Yoga Day was celebrated with the theme “Vasudhaiva kutumbakan”.
The International Yoga sessions started at Don Bosco Jr. College, Tura on at 7am.
More than 80 people participated in this event.
The India Tourism, Shillong also distributed T-shirt and Mats to the participants.
The entire country is celebrating the 9th International Yoga Day on Wednesday with PM modi visiting the US to lead Yoga day at The United Nations (UN).
