Shillong, June 30: Lamerphylla Damesha Kharsati has made Meghalaya and the nation proud by securing a bronze medal at the 23rd Milo Open International Karate Tournament held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Competing in the -68kgs senior female category of kumite, Kharsati showcased exceptional skill and determination throughout the tournament held at Titiwangsa Indoor Stadium from June 26-30.

Kharsati’s success in this highly competitive environment is a testament to her months of rigorous training, unwavering dedication, and relentless perseverance. By clinching the bronze medal, she has not only brought honour to India but has also demonstrated the potential for further achievements with continued support and assistance.
