Shillong, Nov 22: The Superintendent of Police (SP) of Ri Bhoi district Jagpal Singh Dhanoa has been transferred and posted as SP of Anti-Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) whereas Vivekananda Singh will replace him as the new SP of Ri Bhoi.
An order issued by Secretary incharge Home (Police) department Cyril Diengdoh on Thursday said, “In the interest of public service and on the recommendation of the Civil Services Board (CSB), Vivekananda Singh, IPS (RR 2012), Superintendent of Police, ANTF Shillong is transferred and posted as SP Ri Bhoi district vice Jagpal Singh Dhanoa, IPS transferred, with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.”
