ECI announces Meghalaya Lok Sabha Election Schedule: Voting on April 19, Counting on June 4

Shillong, March 16: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Saturday announced the dates for Lok Sabha elections.

The election in Meghalaya will be held on April 19 as it falls in the First Phase. The Counting will be held on June 4.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar announced that the Lok Sabha will be held in seven phases.

With the announcement of dates the model code of conduct comes into force immediately.
