SHILLONG, FEB 9: Deputy Chief Minister and Nartiang legislator Sniawbhalang Dhar has donated Rs 7 lakh to the Mynkrem Sports Club to upgrade the local football ground.
The project seeks to improve the playing field, install goalposts, and create a conducive environment for sports activities and tournaments.
Mynkrem Sports Club members expressed gratitude for Dhar’s support, saying, “This initiative comes at the right time, reflecting his commitment to promoting sports and youth development in the area.”
The club representatives also appreciated Dhar’s proactive approach, stating, “His efforts demonstrate his dedication to nurturing young talent and encouraging sports participation in the community.”
