Conrad flags off Mobile Ex-Servicemen Health Polyclinic to Tura, announces Rs 5 lakhs Aid for noble initiative

Shillong, Nov 17: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Friday flagged off the Mobile Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme Polyclinic to Tura at the Rhino Training Centre in Shillong.

CM expressed support on behalf of the government, he affirmed their commitment to backing initiatives aimed at the welfare of Ex-Servicemen.

Conrad Sangma also announced financial assistance of ₹5 Lakhs from the CM’s Special Grant for this noble cause.

He also expressed his best wishes for the success of this commendable initiative, emphasising the government’s ongoing dedication to the well-being of Ex-Servicemen.

Taking to X, CM wrote, “We are grateful for the service of our Armed Forces and our Ex-servicemen to our country and the mobile polyclinic which aims to provide medical care to Ex-servicemen is a very special gesture of giving back to each of them for their service. As a Govt. we continue to support the initiatives taken for the welfare of our Ex-servicemen. Happy to extend a financial assistance of ₹5 Lakhs from the CM’s Special Grant for the initiative. I wish this noble initiative the very best.”
