Shillong, Dec 3: ‘One Love is all we need’- Blue, the famous British Boyband will perform in Shillong on December 31st.
The band took to their official Instagram account to announce the news. “We’ll be in Shillong, India on December 31st for a special New Year’s Eve celebration,” the band said on their official handle @officialblue.
The band members are Simon Webbe, Duncan James, Antony Costa, and Lee Ryan. Their 2002 hit, “One Love”, has been popular in India and is like an anthem for every 90’s kids.
However the ticket prices and venue have not been announced yet. The show will be hosted by Fukra Entertainment and insider.in.
Blue burst onto the music scene with their debut single “All Rise” in 2001, followed by chart-topping hits like “Too Close,” “If You Come Back,” and “Fly By II.” Their collaborations with iconic artists, such as Elton John on “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word,” showcased their versatility and earned critical acclaim.
The band released several successful albums, including All Rise (2001), One Love (2002), and Guilty (2003), selling over 15 million records worldwide. Blue also won multiple awards, including BRIT Awards, and represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 with their song “I Can.”
After a hiatus in 2005, the band reunited in 2009, continuing to release music and perform globally. Known for their enduring chemistry and timeless tracks, Blue remains one of the most beloved boybands from the UK, leaving an indelible mark on pop music history.
