Meghalaya witnesses active participation from elderly voters across the state

Shillong, April 19: Citizens over 85 years participated actively in the electoral process, with over 10,180 voters exercised their rights in various polling booths across the state.

The total electorate of the state stands at 2,217,100. The active participation and representation from the senior citizen reflects the diverse demographics of Meghalaya’s voting population.

10,000 plus elderly voters in the state reaffirms inclusivity in democratic participation in the state.
