Shillong, Jan 2: Two persons were arrested for their involvement in killing a 50-year-old man at Khatar Shnong under the Sohra civil sub division.
The incident took place at 3 am on Monday, police said. The deceased has been identified as Moris Khongshei.
Khongshei succumbed to his injuries after he was assaulted by the two persons.
A case was registered with the Sohra police station and investigation was taken up. During the course of investigation, the two male persons involved were arrested and forwarded to court, they said.
