Shillong, July 28: East Jaintia Hills Police seized Cannabis worth ₹ 21 Lakh, a Swift car, and nabbed three accused at Kongong.
The police operation was carried out successfully after receiving a tip-off about the illegal drug trade in the area.
The accused individuals were apprehended during a well-coordinated raid, and further investigations are underway to dismantle the entire network involved in this illicit activity.
Taking to Twitter, Meghalaya DGP L. R. Bishnoi congratulated the Police team for their swift and smart action.
Bishnoi also said that drug traffickers are trying to lure youths into their vicious traps.

Earlier in July 16, EJH Police nabbed two inter-state traffickers and seized Heroin worth Rs. 1.6 crore at Nongsning.

On July 1, Ribhoi Police had nabbed 3 notorious traffickers and seized Heroin worth ₹5Crore and Alto car at Lumkeni with the help of K9 squad.
