Shillong, Aug 5: A traffic accident occurred in Wah-heh, Nongmynsong, involving three vehicles and resulting in one person being seriously injured on Sunday night.
The collision happened around 9 p.m.
According to reports, the accident involved a local taxi, an i20 car without visible number plates, and a scooty with registration number ML05V0425. The taxi suffered significant damage, and its driver sustained serious injuries. Meanwhile, the drivers of the i20 and the scooty incurred only minor injuries, though their vehicles were also damaged.
Police swiftly arrived at the scene and have initiated an investigation into the incident.
