Seven counting centres designated for 29 KHADC Constituencies

Shillong, Feb 19: The District Council Affair (DCA) department has notified the counting centres for the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) elections, the counting of which will be held on February 24.

A notification issued on Tuesday said the counting for Jirang, Nongpoh, Mawhati, Umsning and Umroi constituency will be held in NSCA Indoor Stadium, Nongpoh Ri-bhoi District.

The counting for Sohryngkham, Mawkynrew, Nongkrem, Mawsynram, Mylliem, Laban-Mawprem, Nongthymmai, Laitumkhrah-Malki, Mawkhar-Pynthorumkhrah, Jaiaw, Mawlai, Mawphlang-Diengiei and Nongspung-Sohiong constituency will be held in Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT), Mawlai Mawiong, Shillong.

For Lyngkyrdem-Laitkroh, Nongskhen and Shella constituency will be held in Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Pynursla Civil Sub-Division, Pynursla, for Shella and Sohra constituency, the counting will be held in New Conference Hall, O/o Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Sohra Civil Sub-Division, Sohra.

In Eastern West Khasi Hills, the counting for Mairang-Nongkhlaw and Pariong-Mawthadraishan constituency will be held in Multipurpose Hall, O/o the Deputy Commissioner, Mairang.

In South West Khasi Hills, the counting for Mawkyrwat and Langrin constituency will be held in O/o the Deputy Commissioner South West Khasi Hills District and in West Khasi Hills, the counting for Nongstoin, Rambrai-Jyrngam and Mawshynrut constituency the counting will be held in O/o the Deputy Commissioner Nongstoin.
