Rahul Gandhi in Imphal: Congress leader shares lunch with kids at Manipur relief camp

Imphal, June 30: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday shared lunch with children at the relief camp in violence-hit Churachandpur, Manipur.

Rahul reached Churachandpur in a helicopter after his convoy of vehicles was stopped by the state police mid-way fearing violence.

Series of pictures were also shared on the official social media handles of Congress.

Rahul Gandhi was stopped at Bishnupur, around 20 kilometres from Imphal. Later he took a state government-provided chopper to visit Churachandpur.

In a tweet, Rahul Gandhi said, “I came to listen to all my brothers and sisters of Manipur,” he tweeted, adding that people of all communities are being very welcoming and loving.
