Shillong, Dec 12: As a token of Christmas gift, National People’s Party’s (NPP) North Shillong candidate Ransom Sutnga on Monday distributed blankets and gifts to approximately 300 people belonging to the BPL section.
Among the 300 were also pensioners and disabled persons. The event was held at NPP Nongmali office premises.
Despite the biting cold, small children accompanied their mothers to the small gathering to greet Santa Claus. Cake cutting ceremony was also carried out and refreshments were served.
