NPP condemns Pahalgam terror attack, calls for return of peace

Shillong, April 26: The National People’s Party (NPP) has strongly condemned the recent terror attack against innocent civilians at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. The resolution was adopted unanimously during the party’s first national committee meeting for the term 2025-2028, held at the NPP’s headquarters in Shillong on April 24.

The National Committee observed a two-minute silence in solemn remembrance of the departed souls and offered prayers for strength and comfort for the bereaved families.

“The Party strongly condemned this heinous act of terror against innocent civilians that took place in Pahalgam recently,” NPP national working president James K Sangma said in a statement issued on Saturday.

“The Party also appeals and prays for the return of Peace and normalcy,” he added.
