Shillong, May 2: A lightning strike on Thursday killed nine cows in Thiepkseh Village, West Khasi Hills District.
It was reported that the lightning strike during the morning time when the area received heavy rains.
According to reports, the cows belonged to Ronald Lyngdoh of Thiepkseh village. The loss is estimated to be several lakhs.
