Aizawl, Dec 6: Lalduhoma, the candidate for the Chief Minister’s position in Mizoram on Wednesday met Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati at Raj Bhavan to stake a claim to form the government.

After meeting the Governor, Lalduhoma said, ” We spoke about the formation of a new government. He appointed me as the CM and asked me to form the govt, which will be done on Friday. The next week we will hold the first session.”

According to reports, the swearing-in of a new council of ministers in Mizoram will be held on Friday, an official said.
It must be noted that the meeting of the newly elected MLAs of Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) was held at the residence of Lalduhoma, Chief Ministerial candidate of ZPM in Aizawl. 27 Winning MLAs of the party were also present in the meeting.
