Meghalaya CM congratulates HSSLC 2026 students, calls results ‘encouraging’

SHILLONG, MAY 4: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Monday extended his congratulations to students who cleared the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate examination 2026, calling the results “encouraging across all streams.”

Posting on X, the Chief Minister said, “Congratulations to Our Students! Heartiest congratulations to all students who have successfully cleared the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examination 2026!”

He added, “Your hard work, discipline, and determination have brought you to this important milestone. This achievement reflects not only your efforts, but also the unwavering support of your parents, teachers, and institutions.”

Highlighting the stream-wise performance, Sangma noted, “This year’s results are encouraging across all streams: Arts: 88.63%, Science: 83.70%, Commerce: 87.49%, Vocational: 95.23%.”

He concluded with a message for the students: “Wishing all our students the very best for their future endeavours. Keep striving, keep believing, and keep moving forward!”

The Meghalaya Board of School Education declared the HSSLC 2026 results earlier today.
