Shillong, March 15: NorthEast United FC is set to face Jamshedpur FC in a high-stakes playoff knockout match on March 30 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong.
The Indian Super League (ISL) has officially announced the schedule for the 2024-25 Playoffs, with the league stage wrapping up on March 12.
The knockout round, scheduled for March 29 and 30, will determine which teams advance to the semi-finals. Mohun Bagan SG secured the League Shield for the second consecutive season, making history as the first club to achieve this feat. They, along with FC Goa, Bengaluru FC, NorthEast United FC, Jamshedpur FC, and Mumbai City FC, have secured spots in the playoffs.
In the playoffs, the teams ranked third to sixth will compete in single-leg knockout matches. The winners will face Mohun Bagan SG and FC Goa, who have earned direct qualification to the semi-finals. The semi-finals will be played in a two-legged format, with the aggregate winners advancing to the final, which will take place on April 12 at the home ground of the higher-ranked team.

In case of a tie in the knockout or semi-final stages, matches will proceed to extra time and penalties to determine the winner.
