Accompanied by thousands of supporters, the NPP candidate from Mylliem filed his nomination papers on Monday in front of the R.O at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), East Khasi Hills, Shillong.

While speaking to reporters, Dohling expressed confidence in getting re-elected to the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly.

Assuring that if he is re-elected, he will definitely take up the ILP issue and follow-up on it and other issues like inclusion of Khasi and Garo Language in the Eighth schedule.

“People in Mylliem constituency know me by name and they will vote in favour of my name,” he said.
