Shillong, April 21: Meghalaya sports minister Shakliar Warjri on Friday expressed his dream to improve and provide good infrastructure to the youths and sports enthusiasts in the state.
Stating that many youths are very much into sports especially football, Warjri said the main objective is to provide better facilities and also to be able to host games in Meghalaya where all youths can participate and showcase their talent.
It maybe mentioned that Warjri is a first time MLA and also one of the youngest MLA in the Cabinet.
He also mentioned that the youth policy is still under examination and that nothing is final as yet. “We are still working on it and once examination is done, (we) will put it up in the public domain,” mentioned Warjri.
