SHILLONG. FEB 9: Deputy Chief Minister and Nartiang legislator Sniawbhalang Dhar has donated Rs 8 lakh to the Presbyterian Church Moorathud.
The contribution aims to bolster the church’s efforts in promoting social welfare and community engagement activities.
During the handover ceremony, Dhar emphasized his commitment to supporting institutions working towards the betterment of society.
“This donation is a testament to my dedication to fostering unity, love, and harmony among the people,” he said.
Church representatives expressed gratitude for the timely and much-needed support. “We appreciate MLA Dhar’s generosity and commitment to our community’s welfare,” they said.
