In a statement, the HID Foundation said the ambulance had been requested in 2019 and its approval marks the fulfilment of a long-pending need. “After seven years of continuous effort, our dream has finally come true, and we are deeply grateful to the Hon’ble Chief Minister for extending his support to the Foundation,” the statement said.

The Foundation stated that the ambulance will play an important role in providing timely medical assistance during its various programmes and sports activities organised by Risyon Sports Club. “This noble gesture is not only a helping hand in expanding our daily activities but also a great blessing for the Foundation and its unit organisation. The ambulance will play a major role in ensuring immediate medical support whenever required,” it added.
