SHILLONG, FEB 22: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has criticized the Congress party’s recent protest at the AI Summit, saying it’s “unfortunate” and an inappropriate platform for politics.

“Recent drama by the Congress party by having a shirtless protest in the AI summit was unfortunate. In such occasion leaders and political party’s must stand together to project the nation. It’s not a platform to play politics … it’s the image of the Country and as an Indian that comes first …,” Sangma said in a social media post.

The CM emphasized the need for unity among leaders and parties to promote the nation’s image, especially at international events.
