SHILLONG, SEPT 8: The Border Security Force (BSF) will organise a Pension Adalat for BSF pensioners and family pensioners from Meghalaya and Assam on September 11 at BSF Camp, Mawpat in Shillong.
The Adalat will be held from 9:30 am onwards for on-the-spot redressal of pension-related grievances, BSF officials said.
“The objective is to provide pensioners and family pensioners with an accessible platform to present their pension-related grievances before the concerned authorities and to facilitate their prompt resolution,” a BSF statement said.
Eligible pensioners will get an opportunity to present issues relating to pension and associated benefits.
Necessary action will be taken on the grievances received, with efforts being made to resolve them on the spot wherever possible.
The Adalat will also provide beneficiaries with information regarding various channels, procedures and facilities available for redressal of pension-related issues.
The BSF said the initiative reflects its commitment towards the welfare of its pensioners and family pensioners and aims to provide them with an accessible and dedicated platform for addressing genuine concerns.
The BSF has appealed to all its pensioners and family pensioners from the two states to participate and make the most of the opportunity.
