A biker and a scooty rider who were passing by the truck became victims when the container truck suddenly fell on them.

The biker, Lohit D Marak of Megam Akong village in Kharkutta North Garo Hills, was crushed to death after the container fell over him and his bike.

A scooty rider, Lenitson Marak of Samingre village who was also passing through the road was also hit by the container as it overturned. He has survived with serious injuries and has been taken to Tura civil hospital.
